I've been on a Nancy Sinatra kick for the past couple of days. Over the weekend I picked up Nancy In London (which is now gracing my living room wall) and How Does That Grab You? at the Austin Record Convention. I now own all of her albums from the 1960s. Here's the classic video for her hit single These Boots Are Made For Walkin' to start the week off right:
PS: I'm looking for a copy of the Movin' With Nancy television special on DVD. If you can offer assistance, please drop me a line.

Oh, she has such a lovely voice. My favorites are those she sing with Lee Hazelwood, especially "Summer Wine"!
ReplyDeleteGood choice! The Nancy & Lee album is brilliant! It's definitely one of my favorites as well.
ReplyDeleteAlso worth checking out is the French singer Marie Laforêt's cover of Summer Wine.
Great hair, great make-up, great legs- can she get any better?
ReplyDeleteLove Nancy Sinatra alone and together with Lee Hazelwood! Brings back good memories as a very young child when I heard that on the radio!
ReplyDeleteHi -- Just came across your site and love your blog! Nancy Sinatra is amazing, I especially like her singing "Sugar Town."
ReplyDeleteI love Nancy. She's awesome. I can never get enough of her.
