Jayne Mansfield For President (1964)
Jayne Mansfield's spoof on the 1964 Presidential Election. This one is a personal favorite from my collection. Best magazine idea ever?! I think so! Delightfully campy from front to back cover!
Jayne possessed a genius for PR. Did you know that she was the most publicized woman in the world for a period in the late 1950s?
Funny, yet true: Following the release of Jayne Mansfield For President, many people honestly thought that JM was serious running for office!

Exclusive! - Sharon Tate by David Bailey
Sharon Tate is my all-time favorite actress and style icon. In my opinion, Sharon was the living embodiment of everything the Swinging Sixties represented. She was beauty, grace, and kindness personified.
I started collecting Sharon Tate memorabilia about three years ago. Since then, I've been lucky enough to acquire many unique treasures which I plan to showcase on this blog.
Recently, I stumbled across these extremely rare original vintage photographs of Sharon, and just couldn't resist adding them to my personal collection. The following images were shot by famed 60s photographer David Bailey on the set of the film, The Fearless Vampire Killers in 1966.
Please DO NOT repost these scans without my express consent. Thank you and enjoy!

Timeless Beauty: Elizabeth Taylor
It seems only fitting that the first post of this blog should be dedicated to one of the most enduring legends of the silver screen, Dame Elizabeth Taylor.
I simply adore Elizabeth Taylor. Dame Elizabeth is both an extraordinarily talented actress and a major fashion icon. A genuine living legend if there ever was one. She is also a dedicated humanitarian who has committed her life to the promotion of social justice. I am deeply inspired by her tireless efforts in the fight against AIDS. Liz is a survivor and a truly courageous, classy woman whom I greatly admire.
